Different shipment profiles
Volumes reached 62,200 tonnes for aluminium and products, 326,760 tonnes for nitrogen fertilisers and 240,580 tonnes for methanol. Tonnage alone is not a meaningful comparison of industrial performance because product values and processing stages differ.

These products fall within non-oil exports under the customs classification. Their production chains can nevertheless use hydrocarbon feedstocks and energy. The statistical category should not be interpreted as complete independence from the energy sector.
