| Indicator | Trade with the European Union, US$ million |
|---|---|
| Exports to the EU | 12,956.96 |
| Imports from the EU | 2,165.12 |
Italy dominates the total
Exports to Italy reached $8.79 billion, representing around 67.8% of all Azerbaijani exports to the EU. The bloc’s large share is therefore accompanied by concentration in a single major destination.
Europe and the EU are different groups
The United Kingdom and Switzerland are not included in the EU totals. These figures cover goods, excluding services and investment. Assessing the diversity of exports requires a product breakdown as well as country data.
