According to the State Tax Service, as of August 1, 2026, Azerbaijan had 1,715,746 registered taxpayers, up 4.8% year-on-year.

In January-July 2026, the number of active taxpayers in Azerbaijan increased by 3.4% to 888,320. The number of VAT payers and business entities also grew.
