The number of active VAT payers in Azerbaijan has increased by 6.9 percent, according to the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan.
As of October 1, 2026, the number of active taxpayers in the country increased by 4.8 percent compared to the beginning of the year and reached 900,967.
The number of active value-added tax (VAT) payers grew by 6.9 percent since the start of the year and reached 62,414.
"In addition, the number of active business entities (objects) increased by 6.2 percent and amounted to 247,206," the tax service reported.
