Artificial intelligence-based analysis and programming methods will be applied in the Automated Information System for Food Safety (AQTİS). The goal is to enhance the efficiency of control and regulatory activities, as well as to inform entrepreneurs and consumers.

This is reflected in the "State Program on Ensuring Food Security in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2027–2032," approved by a decree of President Ilham Aliyev.

According to the Program, research will be conducted jointly with relevant state bodies (institutions) to select the software and tools necessary for the use of artificial intelligence and analysis. Based on the results of the analysis, an AI model will be developed to analyze risks and potential problems related to food safety, and this model will be implemented.

The main executing body for the process is the Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency.

Other executing bodies are the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
