Turkmenistan has discussed a possible interest in oil products produced at the Turkmenbashi refinery complex with a company registered in Oman.
According to the press service of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Saudi Arabia, the issue was raised during a meeting between Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Saudi Arabia and Oman, Muhammetgeldy Ayazov, and the Chairman of the Board and CEO of DUX Middle East (FZC) LLC, Rasul Guliyev.
According to the embassy, Guliyev briefed the ambassador on the company's activities and expressed interest in oil products produced at the Turkmenbashi refinery complex.
"During the meeting, Rasul Guliyev informed the ambassador about the company's activities and expressed interest in oil products produced at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries," the statement said.
Ayazov also informed Guliyev that the 31st International Conference and Exhibition "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan - OGT 2026" will be held in Ashgabat on October 21-23, 2026, and invited him to participate in the event.
The Turkmenbashi refinery complex is the largest oil refining enterprise in Turkmenistan. It processes crude oil and gas condensate, producing petroleum and petrochemical products.
The complex produces, among other things, gasoline, diesel fuel, kerosene, and polypropylene. Its products are supplied to international markets in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
The complex is regularly modernized to increase production capacity and introduce modern technologies. The enterprise is part of the state concern "Turkmennebit" and plays an important role both in supplying the domestic market and in export deliveries.
