- Regular — $6.699 per gallon ($1.77 per liter);
- Plus — $6.899 ($1.82 per liter);

Over the past seven days alone, the average cost of fuel in the state rose by 2.5–2.6%. The increase affected all categories:
- Regular: from $6.04 to $6.70;
- Mid-Grade: from $6.27 to $6.89;
- Premium: from $6.69 to $7.09 per gallon.
Thus, over the week, gasoline in California has risen in price by an average of $0.40–0.66 depending on the grade. Current prices significantly exceed the national average, making California one of the most expensive regions in the US for fuel costs.
Analysts attribute the rise to seasonal factors, the situation on the oil market, and the specifics of local taxation and environmental requirements for fuel. So far, there are no prerequisites for a decline in prices at the state's gas stations.
