Alisher Samadov Appointed Chairman of Uzbekistan's Accounts Chamber

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree appointing Alisher Samadov as Chairman of the country's Accounts Chamber.

This was reported by the presidential press secretary Sherzod Asadov on Telegram.

"By the decree of the President of Uzbekistan, Samadov Alisher has been appointed to the position of Chairman of the Accounts Chamber of the Republic of Uzbekistan and, in connection with this, has been relieved of his position as Head of the Department for Legal Expertise and Comprehensive Analysis of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan," Asadov noted.

Earlier, the candidacy of A. Samadov for the post of head of the Accounts Chamber was approved by the Senate of the Oliy Majlis.

The position of Chairman of the Accounts Chamber of Uzbekistan had been vacant since January 2025. Prior to that, it was headed by Adiz Boboev, who later became the hokim of the Samarkand region.
