Executives from companies such as Coinbase, Ripple, Gemini, Robinhood, Polymarket, and Kalshi are members of the new Innovation Advisory Committee of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). However, before they participate in their first committee meeting on Thursday, crypto executives will gather for a meeting at the White House, sources familiar with the matter said. Participants were told that President Trump plans to attend.
The meeting, which is expected to take place in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building adjacent to the White House, is intended to kick off policy dialogue in some of the leading arenas for innovation in the United States. The list of attendees is also expected to include CFTC Chairman Mike Selig and other advisers, sources said.
One source added that Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick may also be present at the event.
White House representatives did not immediately respond to requests for comment on the plans.
