Participants in the meeting of the Working Group on the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TMTM) discussed optimizing freight costs to enhance the attractiveness of the Middle Corridor.
According to information disseminated by Azerbaijan Railways (ADY), the meeting was held on September 14–15 in the capital of Bulgaria.
The event was attended by the head of the Working Group, Deputy Chairman of ADY Nijat Guliyev.
Meeting participants discussed the optimization of container transportation and tariff policy amid growing freight flows.
Following the discussions, the parties signed a final protocol providing for further expansion of cooperation in the field of rail transport, increased efficiency of logistics chains, and stimulation of trade in the region.
