Tehran's Imam Khomeini International Airport has resumed international flights that had been suspended during the US and Israeli operation against Iran.

The news was reported by Al Jazeera, citing Iran's state broadcasting company IRIB.

According to IRIB, on Thursday the airport received its first international flight since the resumption of air traffic. An aircraft of the Iraqi airline Iraqi Airways arrived in Tehran from the city of Najaf.

It is noted that flights between Tehran and Najaf will operate in both directions.
