In January-July of this year, Azerbaijan transported 74,000 tons of cargo by air, valued at $4.920 billion, according to the State Customs Committee.

Compared to the same period in 2025, this figure increased by $32.6 million, or 0.7%, in value terms, and by 65,000 tons, or 8.2 times, in quantitative terms.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan exported approximately 66,500 tons of cargo by air, worth $3.833 billion. This represents a 17.3-fold increase in value (up $3.6 billion) and a 42.5-fold increase in volume (up 64,900 tons) compared to the same period last year.

In January-July, Azerbaijan imported 7,500 tons of cargo by air, valued at $1.087 billion. Compared to the same period in 2025, this indicator decreased 4.3 times in value terms (down $3.6 billion), but increased by 84 tons, or 1.1%, in quantitative terms.
