The State Tax Service, through its electronic registration system, has registered two more foreign digital service providers for tax purposes.
According to the STS, these are Sweden's Spotify AB and Singapore's TikTok Pte. Ltd.
The registration of both companies for VAT purposes took effect today.
For registered non-resident digital service providers, banks do not withhold VAT from payments for services rendered. In this case, the companies themselves calculate, declare and pay VAT to the state budget.
