Some of the largest clients of American technology company Nvidia have been warned of a price increase of more than 15% for server systems with artificial intelligence chips.

Server manufacturers working under contracts with major data center operators, including Microsoft, Google, and Oracle, have notified clients of the upcoming price increase.

The change is expected to affect server systems scheduled for delivery in early 2027. Nvidia has not yet commented on the information.

According to Bloomberg, the performance of Nvidia's AI accelerators largely depends on the amount of dynamic random-access memory (DRAM) used alongside them.

It is worth noting that the world's leading memory chip manufacturers are South Korea's SK Hynix and Samsung, as well as American Micron Technology. Despite increased production volumes, companies are not yet able to meet growing demand, which has led to higher memory chip prices and strengthened the position of their manufacturers in the global technology market.
