Azerbaijan has discussed cooperation with the World Bank (WB) in digital transformation, the development of artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure, data centers and the 'Government Cloud'.
The discussions took place during a meeting between Deputy Minister Rashad Gasanov and the World Bank Group's single representative in Azerbaijan, Sasha Bakes.
The meeting explored opportunities for cooperation in priority areas identified under the 'Action Plan for Accelerating Azerbaijan's Digital Development for 2026-2028'.
The parties also exchanged views on possible World Bank support in training cybersecurity specialists and personnel with digital skills.
