From October 1, the minimum cost of broadband internet access (BBA) in Azerbaijan will be 25 manats per month. A source in the country's telecommunications market told FinFly.News.
According to the source, all existing fixed internet tariff plans priced at 18 manats and below will be switched to a single minimum tariff of 25 manats. The changes will apply exclusively to home broadband internet and will not affect mobile communications or mobile internet.
The source noted that the decision is linked to the market's policy of tariff unification and further development of telecommunications infrastructure.
The new terms are expected to affect thousands of subscribers using the most affordable tariff plans. At the same time, operators may offer users additional services or higher access speeds within updated packages.
