All government agencies in Kazakhstan have been moved to the unified digital product development platform QazTech, as part of the implementation of the President's instructions on introducing artificial intelligence and digital transformation of government services.
This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of Kazakhstan, Zhaslan Madiyev, at a government meeting.
The QazTech platform has been operational since April 1, 2026, and allows reducing the time for creating and launching new digital services from several years to several weeks. "The government has approved a two-year plan for migrating existing systems to QazTech. For this year, migration of 39 systems is planned, with work on 36 of them at the completion stage. Another 25 systems are at the migration and development stage outside the plan, and 10 systems are already fully functioning on the platform. That is, work is proceeding at an accelerated pace, and today all government agencies are already working with QazTech," said Zhaslan Madiyev.
He also noted that by decree of the Head of State, Kazakhstan has introduced a moratorium on the creation of government information systems outside the QazTech platform.
