The value of notes issued by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) in circulation exceeded 1 billion manats for the first time since July 24, 2024.

According to the regulator's press service, as of August 13, the value of notes in circulation amounted to 1.07 billion manats, which is 127.5 million manats higher compared to the figure on August 12.

It should be noted that on July 24, 2024, the volume of CBA notes in circulation was 1.048 billion manats.

Recall that since September 1, 2022, the CBA has been implementing a new monetary policy. Under this policy, the CBA began issuing 84, 168, and 252-day notes, while maintaining the issuance of 28-day notes.
