As part of the digital transformation underway in Azerbaijan, SİMA İmza has been integrated into the unified public procurement portal. The State Agency for Antimonopoly Control and Supervision of the Consumer Market under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan has enabled electronic signing of documents using SİMA İmza on the portal https://etender.gov.az/.

Currently, entrepreneurs can use SİMA İmza on the portal to sign companies' financial statements, as well as applications related to obtaining relevant certificates from the State Tax Service. The process is fully digital. Entrepreneurs can obtain an electronic signature via a mobile app without visiting service centers and participate in tender procedures remotely.

This simplifies the document signing process, reduces operational workload, and ensures more flexible and prompt execution of procedures. At the same time, the ability to obtain an electronic signature online facilitates the participation of small and medium-sized businesses in public procurement, helps expand the competitive environment, and enhances transparency.

This innovation is part of the country's efforts to digitalize public services. In the "Concept for Digital Development in the Republic of Azerbaijan," approved by a decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated January 16, 2025, the modernization of public services and their transition to digital platforms are identified among the main directions.

AzInTelecom will continue to expand the applications of SİMA, creating a convenient and accessible experience for users of digital services.
