Russia is immediately lifting restrictions on diesel exports earlier than planned. This was announced on October 9 by Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak.
"Russia, for its part, being one of the key suppliers of diesel to the global market, is also immediately beginning to lift restrictions on diesel exports earlier than planned," he said.
According to him, Moscow views Washington's steps aimed at stabilizing the global energy market and resuming normal energy trade positively. The Russian deputy prime minister specified that Russia is also ready for future coordination of actions aimed at creating a more predictable and healthy market.
In addition, Novak suggested an increase in diesel supplies abroad in November and December as repair work at oil refineries is completed. He also assured that the domestic Russian market will be fully provided with diesel fuel in the necessary volumes.
