Russian households’ expected inflation over the next 12 months fell to 13.2% in October 2026 from 14.2% in September, according to survey findings released by the Bank of Russia on 28 October.

The decline was one percentage point. Businesses’ price expectations also decreased, while consumer sentiment changed little, the central bank said.

The 13.2% reading measures respondents’ expectations, not observed consumer-price inflation or the regulator’s own forecast. Expectations matter for spending, saving and pricing decisions, but do not replace statistics on actual price changes.
