Azerbaijan’s central bank will announce its next interest-rate corridor decision on October 29. The policy rate currently stands at 6.5%.

Following the previous decision, the upper corridor boundary remained at 7.5% and the lower boundary was 5%. The meeting announcement does not specify a new rate.

The central bank has linked future decisions to inflation forecasts, macroeconomic developments, foreign-exchange conditions and banking liquidity. Existing parameters remain in effect until a decision is released; the announcement itself signals neither a cut nor an increase.
