As part of the LEGIS Legal Forum, initiated by PASHA Holding, applications have opened for the LEGIS mentoring program aimed at supporting the professional development of young lawyers.
The program offers lawyers at the early stage of their careers the opportunity to interact directly with recognized and experienced specialists in various fields of law, gain knowledge and practical experience, supplement theoretical knowledge with practical skills, and receive individual mentoring support in career development matters.
The program will run from September 2026 to February 2027. Meetings will be held at least once a month, lasting at least 60 minutes, in online, in-person, or hybrid formats. Participants will also be able to expand their professional network and gain a more comprehensive understanding of career opportunities in various areas of the legal field.
Mentors of the program include:
* Anar Baghirov - Chairman of the Bar Association of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
* Aytaj Gasimova - Director of the Legal and Government Relations Function at PASHA Holding MMC;
* Bakhtiyar Aslanbeyli - Vice President for External Affairs and Communications at bp for the Caspian region, Central Asia, and Turkey;
* Kamala Mehtiyeva - Chairperson of the Board of the Baku Arbitration Center;
* Kenan Yilmaz - Compliance Director at Koç Holding;
* Jalal Savash - Chief Legal Advisor to the General Director of SOCAR;
as well as other recognized and experienced legal professionals.

The deadline for applications from young lawyers wishing to participate in the LEGIS Mentoring Program is August 27, 2026. Applications will be reviewed by the Organizing Committee. Only candidates who successfully pass the selection will be contacted. Apply to the program: https://lnkd.in/dJwmTN2D
