Saudi Aramco CEO Amin Nasser said at a conference with analysts that if the situation with the Strait of Hormuz normalizes, the company could return to pre-Iranian-conflict production levels within a few days.

"We can reach pre-conflict production levels within a few days. As for reaching maximum production capacity - 12 million barrels per day - we can do that within three weeks if asked," he said.

According to the company's report, Saudi Aramco's hydrocarbon production in the second quarter fell to 9.463 million barrels of oil equivalent per day, compared with 12.78 million barrels a year earlier, due to the conflict in the Middle East.
