According to financial reports published by 21 banks operating in Azerbaijan for the second quarter of 2026, the sector's total net profit reached 728.8 million manats. This is an increase of 150.5 million manats, or 26%, compared to the same period last year.
The highest net profit once again belongs to ABB. Second place went to Kapital Bank with a net profit of 221.8 million manats, and third to PASHA Bank with a net profit of 67.7 million manats. Rounding out the top five are Bank Respublika with a profit of 34.5 million manats and AccessBank with a profit of 28.1 million manats.
Among the five largest banks, the highest annual growth was recorded at ABB. The bank's net profit increased by approximately 95.1 million manats, or 61.2%, compared to the same period last year.
