Syed Usman Tahir, Advisor to the Federal Minister for Culture and CEO of Niftysphere Institute of Arts and Design, is leading a creative cultural initiative through Culture Colors Season 5, aimed at promoting international cultural understanding, artistic exchange and positive relations between Pakistan and Azerbaijan.

A key feature of the presentation will be a specially designed fashion ensemble inspired by Azerbaijan’s national bird, translating the symbolism and visual identity associated with Azerbaijani culture into contemporary fashion. The garment will combine artistic interpretation with elements of traditional aesthetics, creating a unique representation of Azerbaijan through the language of fashion.

Alongside the fashion presentation, Azerbaijani traditional crafts and artistic heritage will also be highlighted. The objective is to introduce audiences to the beauty, craftsmanship and traditions of Azerbaijan in a positive, respectful and creative manner.

Under his leadership, the institute has continued to promote cultural themes through fashion shows, exhibitions, educational programs, international collaborations and creative initiatives that bring different cultures together. Culture Colors Season 5 builds upon this vision by giving international cultures a platform to be understood and celebrated through contemporary artistic expression.

The Azerbaijan-focused presentation is intended not only as a fashion showcase but as a symbol of friendship and cultural connection between Pakistan and Azerbaijan. By presenting Azerbaijani culture through fashion and craft in a respectful and innovative way, the initiative seeks to contribute to greater cultural understanding and strengthen the spirit of friendship between the two countries.

Syed Usman Tahir stated: “Culture has the power to bring nations closer. Through Culture Colors Season 5, our aim is to celebrate Azerbaijan’s heritage through fashion, craft and creativity while creating a meaningful platform for cultural diplomacy and people-to-people connection between Pakistan and Azerbaijan.”
