Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan plan to increase the number of flights between the two countries to 40 per week. This was announced by Uzbekistan's Minister of Transport, Ilkhom Makhkamov.

According to him, 18 flights are currently operated between the countries per week, and the task is to increase their number to 40.

Makhkamov added that following high-level talks in Tashkent on August 23, Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan agreed on developing the Middle Corridor infrastructure, creating joint ventures, and resuming ferry service. The minister emphasized that this work will continue in a practical direction.
