The prototype of the Russian-Belarusian Osvey aircraft will appear in 2027, and its certification will be completed by the end of 2029, Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov told reporters in Minsk on Tuesday.
"We are currently moving according to the adjusted schedule. Next year we will get a prototype that will begin flight tests," Manturov said after talks with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.
"We expect to complete certification by the end of 2029, and this aircraft will get a start in life on the market of Belarus and Russia. We also expect to supply it to third countries," the First Deputy Prime Minister added.
"Belarusian aviation industry enterprises participate in cooperation on the production of Russian aircraft and components. This includes painting in Minsk, for which good opportunities have been provided," Manturov noted.
