Videos have circulated on social media showing new devices on the Zikh-Govsan-Airport road in Baku, which users believed to be speed cameras.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Intelligent Transport Management Center, these devices are not radars. They are used to measure traffic intensity and monitor traffic flow.

"The collected data is used for traffic organization, analysis, and management of traffic flows. The devices do not have the function of issuing electronic administrative violation reports," the Center stated.
