Iranian authorities have conveyed to the United States, through intermediaries, their conditions for reopening the Strait of Hormuz, which include ending the wars in Lebanon and the Gaza Strip and unfreezing Iranian assets. This was stated by the Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, Mohsen Rezaei.

"The strait will not be opened until the US changes its behavior and accepts Iran's conditions. The US must stop the war, pay Iran's frozen funds, and in general, the war in the region, including Lebanon and Gaza, must end, and other conditions that have been conveyed through intermediaries must also be accepted," he said.

Rezaei emphasized that the agreement between Iran and Oman on the Strait of Hormuz will not affect the issue of its reopening.
