Cargo volumes along the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR, Middle Corridor) increased by 22% in the first 8 months of 2026. This was announced by Kazakhstan's Vice Minister of Transport, Zhanibek Taizhanov, at the Georgian International Maritime Forum held on September 7-8 in Batumi.
According to Kazakhstan's Ministry of Transport, the Vice Minister noted positive dynamics in the development of the TITR. In the first 8 months of the current year, cargo volumes along the TITR increased by 22%, while transit traffic on the East-West direction grew by 55%.
