In Baku, traffic organization will be temporarily changed on several streets and avenues from 08:00 to 13:00 on October 11. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan.
The temporary measures will be introduced as part of preparations for an international event that will begin in the capital on October 15.
The restrictions will cover Mehdi Huseyn, Istiglaliyyat, Zarifa Aliyeva, Uzeyir Hajibeyov, Izzatdin Hasanoglu, Yusif Safarov, Gulnar Gadirbeyova and Niyazi streets, as well as Neftchilar and Heydar Aliyev avenues.
"Drivers and other road users are asked to plan their trips in advance, take possible congestion into account and use alternative routes," the statement said.
