Cargo traffic along Azerbaijan's transport corridors in the first half of 2026 amounted to 16 million 651.8 thousand tons.
As reported by FinFly.News citing the State Statistics Committee, rail transport carried 7 million 587.6 thousand tons of cargo, sea transport 3 million 365.2 thousand tons, and road transport 5 million 699 thousand tons.
Along the South-West corridor, 261.8 thousand tons were transported; North-West – 2 million 623.3 thousand tons; North-South – 4 million 559.3 thousand tons; and East-West – 9 million 207.4 thousand tons. This includes 4 million 595 thousand tons along the Europe-Caucasus-Asia corridor.
The share of transit cargo in rail transport was 46.6%, and in road transport – 46.5%.
