Azerbaijan Railways (ADY) is introducing new verification rules for online ticket purchases on the Baku–Tbilisi–Baku route.
According to ADY, the decision was made to protect passengers' interests and prevent possible violations.
Azerbaijani citizens must verify their data in their personal accounts on the ADY website and in the ADY Mobile app via mygov ID. After entering the FIN code, the required data will be displayed automatically.
It is noted that completing verification is mandatory to purchase a ticket.
Foreign citizens must enter their country name and phone number for verification, confirming their data via an OTP code.
It is specified that to complete verification in ADY Mobile, the app must be updated at 00:00 (on the night of October 2).
