Air Arabia is gradually extending its flight cancellations to Russia for October and December. Bookings for some October departures have already been removed, but not all passengers receive official notifications. The Russian Union of Travel Industry (RST) reported this on September 9 on its website.
"The airline is adjusting its schedule in stages, not all at once for the entire booking horizon. Therefore, cancellations appear gradually — the carrier consistently adjusts the periods for which the program was previously announced. Now we see the next stage of this adjustment, which affects October and December," noted Dmitry Gorin, Vice-President of the RST.
At the same time, the carrier's website still sells tickets for some flights to Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Ufa, and Samara for October. The RST noted that this is a continuation of the adjustment of the previously suspended flight program.
