AI startups

This is FinFly’s editorial selection, not a census of Azerbaijan’s startup ecosystem. We include projects with a documented connection to Azerbaijan: origins or founders, operations or offices, or a product serving the country. International projects covered by FinFly are labelled separately with their documented geography. A founder’s connection is recorded only when a source states it. A directory listing alone does not establish registration or current operations.

Counts cover the profiles shown in this directory. Countries include documented offices and markets; they do not necessarily identify headquarters. Sectors are editorial categories. Adding an existing company does not mean a new startup was founded. Changes to our coverage are not evidence of ecosystem growth.

References support individual statements. Company and investor announcements are attributed to their authors and are not automatically independent verification. A KOBİA certificate date is not a founding date. Undisclosed information stays unknown; an undisclosed investment amount does not mean zero investment.

Profiles in the main directory need a substantive sourced description and a source for their Azerbaijan connection or international geography. Basic registry-only profiles may remain accessible by direct link while research continues. The six-field indicator measures available evidence for description, founders, founding year, geography, website and status. It is not a business-quality or investment ranking.

“Presented on official site” reports available evidence, not a guarantee that the business is operating. Each event has a source, a review date and a date identified as the event date or announcement date. If only a year or month is known, no exact day is invented. Recording a historical event does not make it recent news. Only reviewed, published events are visible; an empty timeline does not imply inactivity.

Investments, grants, loans and prizes are recorded separately. No funding total or growth trend is inferred from incomplete coverage. Suggestions and company submissions require editorial review. Send corrections with a profile link, the disputed fact and supporting sources to info@finfly.news. Each profile shows its review date; this directory is not a historical snapshot.
