Arrests were registered against 1,661 commercial properties covering about 700,000 square metres in Moscow this year, according to Asseto research dated October 16 and published on October 27.
Their cadastral value totals 121 billion rubles. Including earlier restrictions, active arrests cover 6,377 properties and 2.3 million square metres.
Offices and administrative buildings account for 56% of the total arrested floor area. An arrest does not itself mean a property has been sold or confiscated, while cadastral value is not an eventual transaction price.
