Today, the selection of subsidized apartments took place in residential complexes built by the State Housing Development Agency (MIDA) in the cities of Lankaran, Shirvan, and Yevlakh.
In total, the selection process for 535 apartments was conducted in accordance with established rules. These apartments can be purchased either through a mortgage loan or with personal funds. The process was monitored from an operational headquarters established in the MIDA administrative building.
Despite the fact that MIDA's electronic sales system has been subjected to attempts of cyber interference at various times, the last two selection processes were carried out without any external interference.
Jamshed Amirov, head of the MIDA apparatus, told journalists that security measures were significantly strengthened during the latest selections.
"The main goal of the innovations introduced into the system and the security measures we have taken is to create equal conditions for every citizen when choosing housing, ensure transparency and efficiency, and conduct the entire selection process in a fully secure format," he said.
The participation of several state bodies in today's selection process shows that multi-stage control over the electronic housing selection system has been introduced.
The State Security Service (SSS), the State Service for Special Communications and Information Security, the Innovation and Digital Development Agency, AzInTelecom LLC, as well as media representatives were involved in the process. This allows for assessing possible risks from different angles and increases the transparency of the process.
Protecting the electronic housing selection process is not limited to expanding technical capabilities. The main task is to ensure equal access for every citizen to the selection system and protect the process from external interference.
