In January–August 2026, Azerbaijan's state budget received 114.7 million manats from privatization of state property, up 18.7% compared to the same period last year. This was reported by the State Service for Property Issues.
Over the eight months, the agency held 40 auctions. At these auctions, share packages of 3 joint-stock companies, 2 small state enterprises, 1 unfinished construction site, and 690 vehicles were privatized.
In addition, during the reporting period, the State Service concluded 2,953 new lease agreements, of which 363 were for non-residential premises and 2,590 for land plots. This is 6.4% less than a year earlier. As a result, revenue from leasing state property (non-residential premises and land plots) transferred to the state budget amounted to 37.8 million manats, up 24.75% year-on-year.
Thus, in January–August, total budget revenue from privatization and lease reached 152.5 million manats, up 20.2% compared to the same period last year.
