Meta founder Mark Zuckerberg published a manifesto on August 10 outlining his vision for the development of artificial intelligence (AI). In his view, the main danger to society lies in one organization or country gaining too much control over this technology.

"The biggest risk is that one government or organization has too much power over the technology," the manifesto reads.

According to him, the most common fears are exaggerated and do not account for all the positive aspects that AI can bring. Zuckerberg stressed that the future of AI should be built on principles of freedom, open research, competition, and equal access to opportunities.

The Meta founder emphasized the need for leadership from the United States and democratic countries in this field so that humanity "retains control over superintelligence." He noted that excessive regulation could slow the development of American models and allow other nations to gain a technological advantage.

Zuckerberg stated that the company intends to make advanced AI tools accessible to a wide range of users. He added that future Meta AI agents should have a higher level of data protection, including the possibility of a fully private mode in which even the developer company cannot access user information.
