Chinese technology company XPeng plans to begin mass production of its anthropomorphic IRON robots by the end of 2026. The pilot model has already undergone automated assembly and rolled off the production line.

The company announced this in a press release.

XPeng claims to have launched the world's first automated production line for high-end general-purpose humanoid robots. The line's automation level exceeds 80%.

The company plans to transition to mass production of the robots by the end of 2026, with market deliveries starting in 2027.
