Work is under way to integrate Uzbekistan’s Uzcard and Humo cards with Apple Pay, Kursiv reported on 28 October, citing the central bank’s press service.
The update followed the 27 October launch for supported Visa and Mastercard cards. National cards are at a different integration stage: preparation does not mean they can already be added to the wallet.
Uzcard and Humo users should look for a separate availability announcement and the participating-bank list. Support for a bank’s international cards does not by itself establish support for all its domestic cards.
