US President Donald Trump said he is not concerned about artificial intelligence (AI) models getting out of control, as the US is closely monitoring the situation. The White House chief made the remarks on September 4 in a conversation with journalists, answering a question about potential cyberattacks by neural networks.
"No, we are watching it very closely. We are ahead of China in AI, and whoever wins in AI will win overall. That is the power," Trump was quoted as saying by FinFly.News.
Artificial intelligence remains a key element of Trump's agenda aimed at preserving American technological leadership, enhancing economic competitiveness, and strengthening national security.
On August 30, Trump published a video on Truth Social created with AI, showing missile strikes on Iran's Kharg Island. Earlier, he also regularly posted AI-generated images, including ones depicting him participating in the capture of Iranian tankers.
