US President Donald Trump has launched a poll on Truth Social to choose a new name for AI, stating that the word "artificial" is inaccurate and ugly.
He proposed considering alternative names for the term "artificial intelligence."
As alternatives, the American leader suggested three options: "Superior Intelligence" (SI), "Extreme Intelligence" (EI), or "Supreme Intelligence" (SI).
"Many people think that the words 'artificial intelligence' are inaccurate and sound quite awkward when applied to AI, or Artificial Intelligence. A much more elegant and accurate description of this new phenomenon could be 'Superior Intelligence' (SI), 'Extreme Intelligence' (EI), or 'Supreme Intelligence' (SI). This is a poll, and I would appreciate it if everyone participates! Which name best suits this constantly evolving 'revolution'?" Trump said in a post on Truth Social.
