US President Donald Trump has announced the creation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Forces, modeled on the Space Force, which he established during his first term. He wrote about this on the social network Truth Social.
"We will in no way hinder or restrain the growth of this incredible industry (AI – ed.). On the contrary, we will cherish it, promote it, and control this sphere as it grows! However, we will also identify the bad, and we can do that very easily with our already existing criminal and civil justice system. To that end, I am forming the AI Forces, similar to how I created the Space Force, which was a tremendous success in my first term," the post reads.
Trump emphasized that AI is a new industrial revolution, but on a larger and more significant scale, which could potentially cover up to 25% of US GDP. "We are ahead of China and the rest of the world, and I intend to keep that advantage!" he stated.
According to the American leader, he will soon select a candidate for the head of the new structure.
