The Bir Ecosystem, which places special emphasis on creating an inclusive digital environment, organized a session on user experience and digital literacy for people over 60, in line with the World Health Organization's (WHO) 'age-friendly' concept.

About 40 retirees from the 'YAŞA' center of the 'Üçüncü Bahar' Public Association took part in the initiative. Participants were introduced to Bir's digital services, tested various features, and shared their impressions and suggestions. The feedback received will help make services more convenient and understandable, as well as adapt the presentation of features to meet the needs of older users.

The opinions and suggestions expressed during the session will be taken into account in the further improvement of Bir's products and services. The company also plans to continue holding similar meetings with users of different age groups.

The meeting was not limited to evaluating user experience. To improve participants' digital literacy, a special training on 'Security and User Experience in Banking Services' was also organized. The retirees were given detailed information about the risks of cyber fraud and the rules for safe use of digital banking services.

It should be noted that the 'age-friendly' concept developed by WHO aims to support the preservation and development of human capabilities throughout life. The main goal of this approach is to ensure accessibility, convenience, and ease of use of services, products, and technologies for people of all ages. Solutions developed with these principles in mind allow older generations to use digital services more confidently and comfortably.

It is worth noting that the Bir Ecosystem has been supporting 'YAŞA' centers since 2017, implementing various initiatives aimed at enabling retirees to lead a healthy and active lifestyle and actively participate in society.

Bir is the first fully integrated digital ecosystem in the Caucasus, changing the traditional approach of private and corporate clients to everyday digital services in Azerbaijan. The ecosystem, which began operations in 2025, unites the country's leading brands – the mobile banking app Birbank, the e-commerce platform Birmarket, MilliÖn payment terminals, and the m10 digital wallet. Today, Bir serves more than 5 million customers. Thanks to its developed infrastructure and strategic partnerships with Trendyol Azerbaijan and BakıKart, Bir is the first and largest digital ecosystem in Azerbaijan.
