President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree providing for the creation of the 'Digital Communication' information system and the resolution of related matters.
As FinFly reports, the document approves the Regulations on the information system.
The 'Digital Communication' system is intended to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness and transparency of regulation and oversight in the field of information and communication technologies and communications, covering telecommunications and postal services. In addition, it will ensure interaction with government bodies, organizations, as well as individuals and legal entities, along with the accessibility of services and information stored in the system.
The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport has been designated as the owner of the system, and its subordinate Agency for Information and Communication Technologies as the operator.
