The registration system also prevented attempts to connect devices using blocked identifiers to Azerbaijan’s mobile networks.
The company recommends checking the IMEI printed on a phone’s packaging through mygov before purchase. AzInTelecom also reminds users that devices imported from abroad must be registered within 30 days.
