The World Bank Group plans to transition to a single country representation model in Azerbaijan, which will contribute to the further development of partnership with the country.
Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov wrote about this on the social network X.
According to him, the issue was discussed at a meeting with the World Bank's Regional Director for the South Caucasus, Roland Price. The parties reviewed the current state of cooperation and new project initiatives.
"We noted the importance of cooperation in expanding access for small and medium-sized businesses to financial resources, as well as in exploring new opportunities for economic growth and diversification. We emphasized that the World Bank Group's transition to a single country representation model in Azerbaijan will contribute to the development of an effective partnership," the minister wrote.
