Azerbaijan's wind and solar electricity generation is forecast at 4.4086 billion kWh in 2030, local media reported, citing budget projections.
The estimates are 3.0093 billion kWh for 2027, 4.3846 billion for 2028 and 4.4143 billion for 2029. The 2030 figure is therefore approximately 46.5% above 2027, while slightly below the forecast for 2029.
The multi-year increase should not be presented as a one-year growth rate, and the projected path is not continuously upward. These figures concern only wind and solar output. Hydropower and other sources must be considered separately when assessing total renewable generation.
